Welcome to Chilly Chiles, the hottest site on the Net! Chilly Chiles has been heating up Canada since 1993 and we're proud to have been the first Fiery Food specialty company in Canada. We offer one of the largest fiery food product selections in the world (over 1200 items and growing!) along with fast, inexpensive shipping and great customer service. Our customer base stretches from St. John's, Newfoundland to Victoria, British Columbia and all points in between! We also ship internationally to such diverse places as Ireland, the United Arab Emirates and Australia (which is about as far away from here as you can get!).
Chilly Chiles is located in Navan, Ontario (just outside of Ottawa) and is owned and operated by Rob Myers and Alison Steele-Myers. Needless to say, we are both chile heads who have been cooking and enjoying all types of fiery food for over 25 years. We are especially fascinated with dried and fresh chiles and originally started Chilly Chiles because of the difficulties in obtaining these. We now offer the best selection of dried chiles in Canada plus every other type of packaged heat - hot sauces, salsa's, cookbooks, candies and anything else related to our passion for peppers! If you can't find what you're looking for here, just let us know and we'll try to stock it!
To browse our catalogue or place an order, just click on the "SHOP" button and start salivating! The first step is to select the aisle that you wish to visit (or you can leave the setting on "All aisles" and visit the whole store - but it's a little overwhelming!). Shorten the list of products that will be displayed by entering a search word or by adjusting the Aisle Settings.
Tip: When entering a search word, if you are unsure of the spelling of a name or ingredient, just type a partial word and the system will find all matches. For example "dav" will find all of "Daves" products.
Select "GO" to view the product list. Click on any product to get details and to display the "Add to Basket" button. While on the detail page, you can scroll through all of the products on the list by using the buttons just below the Shopping Toolbar.
Tip: This is often the easiest way to browse for products. Just keep scrolling through the list while on the detail page and adding items of interest to the basket as you go along. Later, you can view the basket and easily change quantities or delete items that you don't want. If you are unsure about an item, just set the quantity to 0 and it will remain in your basket but will not show in the total (If you decide that you really want to purchase it, don't forget to go back and change the quantity!). Select Search on the shopping toolbar to produce a new list.
When you are finished shopping, press the "Checkout" button on the shopping toolbar. You will have a chance to review your purchases and then "Continue Checkout".
From this point on, the checkout procedure is carried out using a secure system and you simply follow the wizard which guides you through the process. You can also return to the shopping system at any time or you can cancel the order. During the check-out, you will have the option to add a different ship-to address, ship an item as a gift or add special instructions or comments. When everything is complete, the order is sent to us and a confirmation e-mail is sent to you. We do not process credit card information until the order is ready to ship which allows you to easily change the order at any time up to the shipping date.
Tip: As a security measure, your order and all information in the Order Processing system will automatically cancel if more than 20 minutes elapses without any activity. If this occurs, you will be automatically directed back to the main order page and you will have to re-enter your order.

and customer service. All products sold by Chilly Chiles are carefully selected
and guaranteed to be of the highest quality. If you wish to return a product
for any reason, just send it back within 4 weeks in it's original, resellable
condition and we will refund the cost of the item plus the cost of return shipping.
And if there are any other problems - let us know. We will always try our best
to keep you happy!
Most orders are shipped within 48 hours. If an item is out of stock you will be notified and you can choose to hold the order until the missing item arrives, substitute another item or cancel the item. Orders can be shipped anywhere in the world (shipping costs for Canada are automatically generated for web orders, we will quote on shipping to other countries). All orders within Canada are shipped by Expedited Post and shipments outside Canada are sent surface mail. We can quote on faster delivery if required.
Canada is the home of one of the most complex sales tax structures anywhere!. Happily, most catalogue items are not taxable but in any case, you don't have to worry about the complexities because it is all worked out for you. Of course, if you live outside of Canada no tax at all is applied.
Within Canada, sales tax is applied to taxable items according to where the order is shipped (see the chart below)

On-line orders may be paid using VISA or MASTERCARD and the card information is transfered using our secure order processing system. If you prefer, the information can also be given by phone - just call 1-800-448-5843 (from within Canada) or 1-613-835-9173 (from outside Canada). We need to know your name (as it appears on the order), your Visa card number, the expiry date on the card and the name on the card if different than the name on the order. Alternately you may also print the order, fill in the Visa information and then fax it to 1-613-835-3984 or mail it to Chilly Chiles, PO Box 149, Navan ON K4B 1J4 (Canada).
If payment by money order is preferred, then the order must be printed and mailed to Chilly Chiles, PO Box 149, Navan ON K4B 1J4 (Canada). We do not accept cheques.
